We were told by so many people before doing our kitchen renovation that doing a kitchen renovation was awful - but Dan and Jason as well as their wonderful staff, made the process so much easier. They did so much prep work ahead of time that we really didn't have any surprises coming at us during the process. We handed Astro Kitchens a somewhat dysfunctional 90’s-era kitchen, complete with plumbing and electrical issues, beaten up wallpapered walls (even a wallpapered ceiling!), and they worked their magic, transforming a relatively small space into something we could only have dreamed of, and extremely happy with. Our new countertops and cabinets are immaculate, and more than doubled the space and capacity we had before, while somehow still feeling like a more spacious kitchen when completed. You couldn’t ask for a better team of professionals, from initial consultation, design, installation, and renovation (shout out to Jason, Jake, and Dan, plus all the other pros in their shop that we didn’t get to meet); on schedule and on budget. I requested a design from Jay at Astro Kitchens as it had been a long time since any work had been done at my house and I was unsure of what direction I could use to implement the ideas I wanted. Jay from (ASTRO Kitchens) came to my place and we went over several way to do things ,and he left me to decide on the direction I wanted to go and when ready, to come and see him at the shop to pick colours and handles etc.
After all that was done we were on our way it would be several weeks before they could come as they were on another job , no problem it gave me plenty more time to mull things over just to make sure this was what I wanted.
The day arrived and they came out and went straight to work , they are very courteous , considerate, and friendly .
The quality of the material used was superior , ,my husband still looks at the cabinets and remarks on the thickness of the doors , and the colour, ,can’t believe they made them .The installers were ontime and worked very hard to try and finish installation in one day.
We are beyond happy with the complete setup from beginning to end , we would recommend Astro Kitchens to anyone renovating their kitchens and anyone unsure of what they want , these guys have the knowledge and patience and technology to work with the undecided .
